A Magic Link is a unique URL that records a Data Track event to your Fulcra Datastore every time it’s activated. You can use it to quickly log data from outside the app - perfect for creating custom buttons or automations.
You can use Magic Links to create your own custom logging buttons or automations. For example, trigger them through:
Apple Shortcuts – Add to your Home Screen or use with automations
Smart buttons – Like Flic or NFC tags for physical one-tap tracking
Any app or device that can open a URL
⚠️ Any time you update the configuration of the Data Track, the link updates, too.
⚠️ All Data Tracks except for Duration can have a Magic Link.
Here's how to get your Magic Link in the Context App:
In the Record tab, tap the Data Track you want to get a Magic Link for.
This will open the Data Track's details. From there, tap the Edit button the bottom right.
Assign a specific value for your Data Track.
You can also remove or add tags to be included in the Link.
Then, scroll down and tap on Create a Magic Link.
Tap on the Copy button next to the Magic Link to copy it.
