How to add custom events in my Timeline?

Annotations is a powerful feature that allows you to record any custom events and view them in your Timeline to gain valuable insights into your life. You can read more sample use cases here.

Here's how to create your Annotations:

  1. In Portal, click on the Annotate tab.

  2. On the Annotations page, click on the "+ Annotate" button on the top right.

  3. Enter the name of your Annotation (this can be edited later on).

  4. Select pre-existing tags in the drop-down or create your own. (Tags provide additional context to events recorded from Annotations. You can add as many tags as you see fit.)

  5. Optional: Place notes to describe the Annotation or help you remember what it's for.

  6. Click Save + Copy URL to copy the unique URL for your Annotation.

This unique URL records the Annotation and associated tags any time the URL is accessed. In short, this should not be shared with anyone else!
