The way most popular services or companies that appear free to users on the internet make their money is by using your personal data in order to inform advertisers who may be interested in their products.
A key, important difference between Fulcra and companies that do this is that we have a core belief that “data sovereignty”, or the ability for users to control the destiny of their data is the future of personal computing, and the concept that will ultimately make this platform very useful to our customers.
In the future, we will absolutely be doing things “the good old fashioned way,” charging for our service, assuming that we can make a product that is acceptably great in the eyes of our early customers.
