Microsoft offers several applications that allow users to export their data. Below are the key applications along with the steps to export data from each.

Microsoft Access

  1. Open your Access database.

  2. In the Navigation Pane, select the object (table, query, form, or report) you want to export.

  3. Go to the External Data tab.

  4. In the Export group, select the format you want to export to (e.g., Excel, Text File, etc.).

  5. Follow the prompts in the Export Wizard to specify the file name and format options.

  6. Click OK to complete the export.

Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Outlook and go to the File menu.

  2. Select Open & Export and then choose Import/Export.

  3. In the wizard, select Export to a file and click Next.

  4. Choose the file type (e.g., Outlook Data File (.pst)) and click Next.

  5. Select the folder you want to export (e.g., Inbox) and click Next.

  6. Choose the destination and file name, then click Finish to complete the export.

Microsoft OneNote

  1. Open your OneNote notebook.

  2. Go to the File menu.

  3. Select Export.

  4. Choose the format you want to export to (e.g., OneNote Package, PDF).

  5. Select the section or page you want to export and click Export.

  6. Choose the destination and file name, then click Save.

Microsoft Teams

  1. Sign in with your Microsoft account.

  2. Choose the option to download your chat history, media, or both.

  3. Click Submit request and then Continue when prompted.

  4. Periodically check the export page for the status of your export.

  5. Once the export is ready, a link to download your files will appear under Available Exports.

  6. Click Download to save the files to your local device

Microsoft account activities

This encompasses all the information related to your interactions, location, Cortana, advertising preferences, device usage, and permissions associated with your Microsoft account.

  1. In the privacy dashboard, look for the Download your data option.

  2. Click on Create new archive. This option allows you to select specific types of data you wish to download.

  3. Check the boxes for the data types you want to include in your archive.

  4. Click on Create archive. Microsoft will start compiling your data, which may take some time depending on the amount of information.

  5. Once the archive is ready, it will appear under the Archives section on the same page. Click on the Download link next to your archive to save it to your local device.

The download link will expire after a week, so make sure to download it promptly.

If you are using a work or school account, your organization may control much of your data, and you may need to contact your IT administrator for access.

Once you have your all your Microsoft data, you would soon be able to upload them to your Library.
