This guide will help you get started with Fulcra's Context App, Portal and Computational Notebooks.

Getting Started with Context

  1. Install Context on your iPhone.

  2. Press "Sign In" then use the Google or Apple account of your choice to sign in to Context. If this is your first time signing in, signing in will also create your account. We use Auth0 for account authentication to provide you with additional account security.

  3. Context will take you through several steps during which it asks your permission to access data on your device, including Apple Health data, your location (it may ask twice!), your calendars, your reminders, and your contacts. It will also ask if it can send you notifications.

We suggest you share as much as possible with Context, and allow notifications so that we can communicate with you. Your data is securely stored and accessible only to you.

For more about Fulcra's commitment to the security of your data, please see our Data Safety page.

  4. Once you have completed the Context onboarding process, Context will begin to send your historical and new data to your Fulcra Data Store. You can connect with the Fulcra Team using the button in the app.

  5. To verify that your data is securely streaming into your Fulcra Data Store, you may visit portal.fulcradynamics.com, click "Connect" and log in with the same account you used to log in to context.

  6. The Fulcra Portal will become your hub for adding to, exploring, and making use of your personal data. It will verify that your data is being collected and secured, and show you what you can do with your data.

Check back frequently, as we are adding functionality frequently.

  7. If you'd like to start exploring your data now, we've enabled you to connect your Fulcra Data Store to a computational notebook.

Click the "View on GitHub" link in the Notebooks card of your Portal (or click here) and visit the "Notebooks" folder for demo files you can copy to the computational notebook of your choice.

In these files, you will be able to securely authenticate your notebook to your Fulcra data store, and work with the data you have secured and collected.

Please consult the documentation in our demo notebook files and the Fulcra Knowledgebase for more information on what data is available to your notebooks via our Data Service, and how to explore your data.
